Teachers' day celebrations

"A teacher's job is to take a bunch of live wires and see that they are well-grounded," said Darwin D. Martin. To show our gratitude towards our teachers and uplift the role of teachers in society we celebrated Teachers' Day on 5th September 2023 in Pope John Paul II College of Education. The day started with a Prayer Song performed by the college choir group, setting a serene and uplifting atmosphere for the event. Following the Tamil Thai Vazhthu was performed by the college choir group.

Mishma, a prominent student teacher, delivered a warm and heartfelt Welcome Address. The Presidential Address was delivered by Rev. Fr. George Ponnaiah, the College Secretary. His words of appreciation and encouragement uplifted the spirits of both the teachers and the students. The program continued with a captivating Group Song performance by Sowmiya and her team. The next highlight of the program was a Felicitation by Rev. Fr. Albin Jose, the College Financial Administrator. He acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the teaching staff, thanking them for their invaluable contributions to the institution's success.

His words encouraged the aspiring teachers in the audience to embrace their calling and strive for excellence in their profession. Next, a song titled "I Have a Dream '' was performed by John Wycliffe and his team. One of the freshers John Wycliffe then delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing appreciation to everyone who made the event a success. Through this event the bonding between seniors, freshers and all staff became strong.
