Mental Health and Cyber security online workshop
The safety, security, and mental well-being of children are vital components in fostering their overall development and growth. Recognizing the importance of these aspects, the Department of School Education and Literacy, under the auspices of the Minister of Education, took proactive measures to celebrate World Mental Health Day on October 10, 2024. They organized a national online workshop specifically designed for students in grades 6 through 12, addressing two critical themes: Mental Health and Cyber Security.
This engaging workshop took place on the afternoon of October 10, from 3 PM to 4 PM, providing a platform for young minds to explore the significance of mental health awareness and the implications of cyber safety in today’s digital age. Through interactive discussions and expert-led sessions, students were encouraged to share their thoughts and learn valuable skills to navigate both their emotional well-being and the online world responsibly.
