Teachers' day celebrations

Image
"A teacher's job is to take a bunch of live wires and see that they are well-grounded," said Darwin D. Martin. To show our gratitude towards our teachers and uplift the role of teachers in society we celebrated Teachers' Day on 5th September 2023 in Pope John Paul II College of Education. The day started with a Prayer Song performed by the college choir group, setting a serene and uplifting atmosphere for the event. Following the Tamil Thai Vazhthu was performed by the college choir group. Mishma, a prominent student teacher, delivered a warm and heartfelt Welcome Address. The Presidential Address was delivered by Rev. Fr. George Ponnaiah, the College Secretary. His words of appreciation and encouragement uplifted the spirits of both the teachers and the students. Hush...

Hush... I crave silence when I feel happy, during my guilt period, while pain decides to play with me, and when I get satisfaction. A fun way to keep others in a confused state.

During lunch break, all the participants of the program were busy with their work to give better performance. The Onam program began in the afternoon session with a prayer song performed by our college choir group, followed by a welcome address delivered by our student teacher, Subina. Next, Anto Mebisha and her team mesmerized the audience with a group song. Our student teacher, Arundhati, gave an insightful speech on the significance of the Onam festival. Then, Agnes Anu and her group presented a skit on the...
